Chittar Dam II is located about 58 kms. away from Kanniyakumari. Chittar dam II is one of the important tourist place in Kanniyakumari district. This dam is one of the earthern dam. It was constructed during the year 1964 -1969. The Total capacity of the dam is 28.57 cu.m and the length of the earthern dam is 1134 m.
